Lily and Dana Kruszynska, who are sisters originally from Poland, are renowned for their creative, handmade and unique designs. Growing up in Poland, they designed and made their own clothes from an early age to brighten up their childhood during the communist era. Their flair and creativity continued into adulthood, where degrees from the London College of Fashion were swiftly followed by the opening of their boutique in Beauchamp Place. Their dresses range from red carpet gowns, wedding dresses, bridesmaid to Ascot outfits. The designs are often made to measure for their clientele but also available off the peg from their boutique where they have now been designing for 25 years. Many clients claim it is the only boutique in London where they can come and have something designed especially for them, for any occasion, for any figure… a dress which fits like a glove and flatters their figure. Kruszynska gowns are often fitted with a corset, often hand-embroidered so that the result is a beautifully fitted and flattering piece As described by the Sunday Times they are ‘The ultimate party dresses.’
Described also by one client as ‘London’s best-kept secret’ they keep a low media profile as their clients (ranging from musicians, royalty, high profile celebrities including Dame Shirley Bassey, Tess Daly, Kim Cattral, Jennifer Aniston and Kimberely Walsh... ) all flock to the shop via word of mouth. Kruszynska has also been asked to provide dresses for various TV shows, dressing Tess Daly on many of the shows of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, as well as for presenters of the X Factor and more recently Oti Mabuse, on The Greatest Dancer. They have featured in a multitude of magazines from Harper’s Bazaar to Hello. The dresses are made entirely on the premises in Knightsbridge.
